About
Gunnison Watershed School District Nutrition Services provides healthful and delicious breakfasts and lunches daily at every school. Thanks to the Healthy School Meals For All program, all students can eat for free through the 2024-25 school year. Meals are served only during designated times. Students are also welcome to bring lunch from home.
While breakfast and lunch are free for students, second servings or extras will come with a small charge. Please be aware that each student and staff in the district has a school meal account, which is accessed at the point of sale with their 4 digit pin number.

2024-2025 Meal Prices
Student First Breakfast and Lunch, including milk: $0.00
Subsequent meals, drinks and ala carte items will be charged. Student meal accounts will need to be funded to purchase these items.
Staff/Adult breakfast: $3.75
Staff/Adult lunch: $5.25
A complete breakfast includes a whole grain item, fruit, and milk. A complete lunch includes a whole grain item, protein item, fruit and/or vegetable, and milk.
Ways to Pay
Cash is not accepted! All students have school meal accounts which are accessed at the point of sale with a unique PIN number. Please pre-fund your meal account and keep a positive balance. Here are the ways to pre-fund your student's meal account(s):

- Make check payable to Gunnison Watershed School District
- Make sure to include student's name and 6-digit ID number
- Deliver check to your student's school or the main district office
2024-2025 Free Meals for All Information and Application
Gunnison Watershed School District has opted in to healthy School Meals For All for the 2024-2025 school year, This means that breakfast and lunch are free for all students during this school year!
Even when school meals are free, it's still very important for eligible households to complete the Free & Reduced Meals Application. Why? Because your eligibility helps your student(s) qualify for school-related discounts and waivers on things like fees or extracurricular activities. Plus, the school district receives vital federal funding based on the number of students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals. So, your application directly benefits both your child and our schools!

The letter of eligibility result (free meal eligibility, reduced-price eligibility, or denied based on income) is emailed from Solana, the foodservice software. If no email is on file, a letter is mailed.
