Pathways Program

“Ensuring all students are successful.”

The Pathways Program in the Gunnison Watershed School District enables students to pursue classes in nontraditional settings.  Courses taken through the Pathways Program help students gain credit and pursue career interests as they work to meet all necessary graduation requirements.  Courses and programs offered through Pathways are open to all students enrolled in the district.

The Gunnison Watershed School District believes that all students fit under the Pathways umbrella. We believe that the unique needs of students can be met by providing a menu of options that will allow students to graduate from the district with the appropriate skills and experiences to be college and career ready. Options include:

  • Career and Technical Education Programs
  • Online Classes
  • Concurrent Enrollment
  • Outdoor Education
  • Summer School
  • Work Study
  • Internships
  • GED Programming
  • Credit Recovery

The Pathways Program is a philosophical look at how students enrolled in the school district can work to acquire credits for graduation. Each student's path may look different.
